Ivory Lace Tea-Length Wedding Dress

I bought this dress for my elopement and it is perfect!!! Such a great length and so elegant! It was super comfortable to wear too! I would definitely recommend this if you want a dress that isn't floor length. They also have one very similar in this style top that does have a longer bottom. I personally loved the sleeves and lace the most! Really cannot beat the price either for such an amazing wedding dress!

Perfect for my June wedding. I bought it on a Black Friday sale for almost half the price! Super comfortable and I was able to add some of my own touches with the help of a seamstress. This was perfect for our casual backyard/ farm wedding.

I’ve tried everything under the sun to lose weight the “right” way for the last 3 years. I can lift heavy, run marathons and chase after my youngest with ease, but I do so in a larger body. I tried on several other straight sized dresses and felt like a whale and horrible that I was into their largest size. I had a friend suggest Torrid and let me tell you—I am so glad I listened. I loved this dress. I felt confident and comfortable for the day I married my best friend. Body image issues stayed in check all day and I’ve never felt more beautiful. I paired it with a petticoat and a crystal belt from Amazon to complete the look. I ditched the petticoat for the reception because it was itchy, but the dress was not at all. The tulle is soft and so is the liner. It’s a beautiful, versatile dress. I am 5’4” and 240 lbs. I got the size 16.

Story time: I got engaged one week ago on Christmas Eve, and since Torrid is my obsession, I came to Torrid’s website that very night to look at wedding dresses. This is the one I chose. I love everything about it, plus, I didn’t want a floor-length dress because I am on an extreme budget and I did not want to alter it to make it shorter. (I am 5’2”). I put this one in my cart and on my wishlist in size 22, but obviously didn’t pull the trigger yet because I was imagining a June 2025 wedding and was concerned about possibly changing sizes in a year and a half. Then yesterday we decided we may want to push the wedding date up to June 2024 instead because we just can’t wait to be married. We went to Starbucks this morning where our total was exactly $20.24 and I joked that it was a sign, and then we went to our local Goodwill. We sat in the parking lot for half an hour waiting for it to open, and as soon as we walked in, not 15 feet from the door in the very front of the dress section, a Torrid wedding dress bag was hanging in plain sight. It was literally the closest dress in the store to where we walked in. When I saw ‘torrid’ on the bag, I ran over. I peeked in the bag and it was MY DRESS! Brand new with the tags still attached! It was one size smaller than I would have ordered, and I nervously took it to the dressing room. It fit perfect! The size 22 would have been too large. So I walked out of there with the exact wedding dress I wanted for 1/4 of the price, and the distinct feeling that fate or God or my guardian angel touched my life today. Definitely going for that 2024 wedding now! As far as the dress itself, it’s a great length. I adore the tulle at the bottom. The zipper was a bit annoying but still works just fine. The lace on the chest and arms is so stretchy. I am happy to cover up my arms, as they are an area I am self-conscious about. This dress was everything I wanted for my wedding, and more! I felt beautiful and modern in it without having to spend $1,000+. The dress arrived in perfect condition. I did have some trouble with the zipper, but we figured it out. Other than that, I could not have chosen a better dress.
