Mini Cotton Voile Trapeze Cover-Up Dress

I love the look of the dress but it runs a little small. I bought a top in the same order. I bought the top in the same size as the dress. The dress is tight and the top is comfortable.

I just purchased this in store so I haven’t washed it yet but I love it just from seeing/trying it on in store. I typically wear a size 14 and I purchased this in a size 0 fits perfect!

So disappointed in the quality. I ordered to wear as a dress but this wouldn’t even last as a coverup. I’m ok with how thin the fabric is but the edges are all raw with strings coming out. The strings aren’t from stitching, they’re the fabric itself unraveling! This will never survive one wash, probably not even one wear! Returning. 2 stars for color and style only.

This dress is so flattering and cute. It’s a perfect a-line and hides the tummy well. The top is supportive and holds my breasts well without a bra. I like the lightweight material of the bottom part of the dress. Even though it’s sold as a cover up, it’s also great as a summer dress. I’m between a size 1 and 2, but I definitely needed a size 2 in this dress to fit my chest (40DDD)

Bought this in store just as a dress (didn’t even know it was supposed to be a cover up) and liked it a lot for the style and pattern. Like other reviews say, the material is very cheap feeling (especially by torrid’s standards, feels more like something you’d find at target) and the fabric is frayed along the seams and the straps are very flimsy (though the dress holds up fine with the straps tucked in instead for me). However, even though it’s thin and light, the material is not see through and is comfortable. I personally like the gauze style top so you can get away with not wearing a bra. I’m 5’5” and bought a 1 (normal size is 16-18 so it fits as normal). Dress covers behind and ends above the knee so good summer dress. If you’re taller and worried about length or have a larger bust you may want to size up. Due to the cheapness of the fabric I would absolutely NOT pay full price, do what I did and wait until you can get a deal on it if you really like the look and want it for yourself.

Horrible quality, paper thin and unraveling at all the seams. I’m not sure it’s even wearable after washing it. I’m so disappointed in this cover up. I’ve always been a huge fan of Torrid but this is not Torrid quality.

Bought this dress as a cover up. It's so cute and fresh, but best of all, it has pockets!!! True to size, I wear a 26.

Im usually happy with my purchases, however this is 100% not worth the money. The finish work is terrible, it has a raw unfinished hem on it on each layer that not only drops threads but will not withstand any washing. Terrible Quality that should have never made it past the design stage

As a cover up dress, I expected this to be thin and it is BUT you can wear a bodysuit or shorts underneath and be find. Normally I'm a size 1 / 14-16 and chest heavy, but the 1 was way too small up top to be comfortable. If you have a large bust, order a size or 2, up.

I’m not sure why the previous review said it’s too small. I bought my normal size and it fit perfect. Super fun and bright colors. It looks even better in person.
