High-Rise Straight Stretch Classic Denim Jean

These are great Jeans!! (thought still regular ol small pockets) I've been waiting so long for Torrid to finally drop a good straight leg. And they have!! Other reviews say to size down a little and I agree-size 1 down and they they perfectly fit the waist and upper hips like bombshell skinnies, and lower thighs and lower legs like regular boyfriend jeans, but with stretch. seriously. These are great. I need like 12 more so I have them even after everyone else discovers them and theyre never in stock again.

TLDR: Not super stretchy. Skip if you're very pear shaped, unless you're okay getting them taken in, and even then, you might need to buy up if you've got them thighs mama. I have a few pairs of straight-leg high waisted jeans that I got at Torrid about 2 years ago now and they were the PERFECT jean. I was so excited when I finally saw another pair and had really, really hoped that they were the same jeans, but they are not. The texture is on par, being a cross between a more classic style jean (i.e. sturdy) but still having a slight softness and stretch to them, while definitely not as stretchy as jeggings. The length on these was beautiful (I need a tall). However, my problem game when it was with the fit. The old ones I had were narrow in the waist but roomy in the hips/thighs. These were designed the opposite, very straight from waist to hip and much tighter in the thighs which just gave me saggy crotch. I'll save them as I'm losing weight and get them taken in at the waist, but I really, really hope to see some more straight leg jeans with this material in more of a bombshell fit. If you're straighter in the middle/thinner in the legs, these may be perfect for you. Also, they have cute little "worn" details at the top of each pocket. I like the look if but if you like a pristine look just be aware. No complete holes anywhere, just worn away edges at the pockets.

I just got these on Saturday can’t return them because I thought it was just me… and thought if I washed them they would fit but no. Got them in my usual size and these run big on the waist, length is fine. Now I need a belt!

I really like these jeans. I am partial to the straight leg and am excited to see more options I. That style. Like others have mentioned these do run large. I wear between a 16T and 18T. I went with the 16T and although they are not tight I like the relaxed 90s vibe. I bought the darker color and plan to grab the lighter wash next.

Absolutely love these! I’m 6’0 with a long torso, and these are high and stretch out, making it very comfortable. I am usually a size 20, got a size 20 but could have sized down to 18 because they stretch out. They are also a tad short, it’s hits just above my shoes showing my socks/ ankle. Regardless, worth it!

I loved everything about these EXCEPT that the don't come with a shorter inseam. I thought they would be ok, but they were too long and I didn't want to take them to a seamstress because I'm still losing weight and won't be wearing them long enough to justify the additional expense. I would definitely buy them again when I know I'm going to get several years worth of wear out of them.

I think these jeans run big. I needed to go down a size or two to get the right fit. I like the look but the fit isn't right.

These fit much like the high-rise girlfriend jeans. They fit me perfectly. NOW WE NEED THIS CUT IN BLACK DENIM WITH INSEAM CHOICES!

Tight on waist too loose everywhere else. I like the length and the boot cut. They are not comfortable to me. Could be my body type very disappointed.

I got my normal size but i have had to size down by 2 sizes. Runs very large for my body. I would recommend to size down 1 size if you plan on buying them and then do from there.
